Print-on-Demand Order Terms

1. Final Invoice and Order Commitment

By proceeding with your order and making payment, you acknowledge that:

  • This is your final invoice, not a quote or proforma invoice
  • Completing payment constitutes a binding commitment to purchase
  • Your order will be immediately submitted to our printing facility upon payment confirmation
  • All sales are final once payment is processed

2. Production and Turnaround Time

All Consumo Books publications are printed on demand. Please note:

  • Standard production turnaround time is 10 to 12 working days from the date of payment
  • Production begins immediately upon payment confirmation
  • Turnaround time does not include shipping/delivery time
  • Rush orders or expedited production are not available due to our print-on-demand process

3. No Exchanges for Incorrect Selections

Important: Please carefully verify your book selection before completing your order.

  • Once payment is made, your order is automatically submitted to the printer and production begins immediately
  • We cannot exchange books if you have selected the wrong title, grade, or edition
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct items are selected before checkout
  • We recommend double-checking your cart contents, book titles, grades, and quantities before finalizing your purchase

4. No Cancellations or Refunds

Due to the immediate nature of our print-on-demand process:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once payment has been made
  • Production begins automatically upon payment confirmation
  • We do not offer refunds or store credit for cancellation requests, regardless of the reason
  • This policy applies to all orders, including bulk orders and business accounts

5. Exceptions

The only exceptions to the above policies are:

  • Books received with printing defects or manufacturing errors
  • Books damaged during shipping (must be reported within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence)
  • Incorrect books shipped due to our error (not customer selection error)

In these cases, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receiving your order for resolution.

6. Customer Responsibility

By placing an order with Consumo Books, you confirm that you have:

  • Carefully reviewed and verified your book selections
  • Confirmed the correct titles, grades, editions, and quantities
  • Read and understood these terms and conditions
  • Agreed to the no-cancellation and no-exchange policy

7. Business and Bulk Orders

These terms apply equally to individual customers and business account holders. Bulk orders follow the same print-on-demand process and are subject to the same policies regarding cancellations and exchanges.

Before you complete your order, please confirm:

✓ I have verified the grades and quantities
✓ I understand this is a final invoice and my order will be printed immediately
✓ I understand the 10-12 day production time
✓ I understand that orders cannot be cancelled or exchanged
